Adobe Vs Canva
In 2019, Adobe launched Adobe Creative Cloud, a set of 20+ applications and services for graphic design, video editing, and web development. It is a monthly/annual subscription-based service accessible from the internet.
Adobe Creative Cloud takes a hybrid approach. Though some applications work on the cloud, most of them have to be installed on-premise due to their memory-intensive nature.
Meanwhile, SaaS-based applications have taken the industry by storm. Canva is a good case in point. This Australia-based company is now emerging as Adobe’s primary competitor.

Why Did Dell Spin-Off VMware?
Dell Technologies has announced the planned spin-off of its 81% equity ownership in VMware. The deal is expected to close this year. The companies will enter into a commercial agreement to co-develop critical solutions and align sales and marketing activities. VMware will continue to use Dell Financial Services.

SpaceX Starlink’s Regulatory Troubles In India
Looks like Elon Musk-backed Starlink broadband is not coming to India anytime soon. The department of telecom (DoT) is investigating whether Starlink’s beta version launch has violated the Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000, the Satellite Communication (SatCom) Policy in India, 2000, the Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1933, and the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, etc.
