No Tricks, Just M3 Treats

A few days ago, in our Endless Origins series of articles, called – Why is Everyone Making GenAI Laptops?, we had predicted that Apple would be launching its M3 chips soon. Today, it all came true.

At the Scary Fast event, Apple unleashed three new AI chips, namely M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max, which now help in running large transformer models with billions of parameters seamlessly, all thanks to the extended support for up to 128GB of memory. 

Plus, the enhanced neural engine helps accelerate powerful machine learning (ML) models, alongside preserving privacy – which is 15% faster than the M2 family chips, and 60% faster than the M1 family chips.
