During Intel’s recent conference call, Gelsinger affirmed the on-track progress of their Gaudi AI accelerator roadmap, with Gaudi3 in packaging and set for launch in 2024, featuring a 5nm chip. Gaudi3 promises significant improvements, including up to 4 times BFloat16 capabilities, double the compute power, 1.5 times network bandwidth, and a 1.5 times increase in HBM capacities.
