Indian LLM Storm is Arriving
The Indian AI ecosystem experienced a complete lull for a long time after the ChatGPT wave hit the world. While the others discussed GPT, Bard, and Gemini, Indian IT was only thinking about adopting them. Come 2024, India has revealed the trick up its sleeve – BharatGPT.
An IIT-Bombay initiative backed by the Indian government, BharatGPT will be a foundational AI model with multilingual and multimodal capabilities. Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio Infocomm has also forged an alliance with IIT Bombay for the BharatGPT initiative.
