India is the New Hub for GenAI Startups

In the world of generative AI, India is no longer just keeping up with the US and China—it’s setting the pace. A year ago, the landscape was barren, and one would struggle to name a single startup building LLMs in India. 

Fast-forward to today, we have approximately 10 startups focused on generative AI research, while over 60 are creating products and wrappers from the existing generative AI solutions.
