The mysterious patterns in animal sounds have remained a puzzle until now. LLMs are now stepping in to decode these sounds and give them meaning, essentially deciphering their language.
The pursuit of decoding animal communication is not new and has been ongoing since the 1950s. While there hasn't been a major breakthrough, it has resulted in a wealth of research on the subject. Recently, something big has happened in this space.
