With over 6 million developers across the country, India is on the fast track to becoming an AI powerhouse. By the end of 2023, India will have the biggest concentration of AI/ML developers.
But with the rise of AI comes a twist: while new jobs would be created for AI-literate people, other jobs may be lost due to automation. McKinsey estimates that nearly 57 million jobs would be eliminated in India due to AI and automation. But on the brighter side, the rise of AI will also create 114 million or twice as many new jobs.
In a bid to bridge the gap in the industry, and unite the developers' ecosystem, Analytics India Magazine recently organised one of the biggest ML developers conferences in India – Machine Learning Developers Summit 2023.
