Recently, Igor Babuschkin, an AI researcher at DeepMind joined Elon Musk to start a new venture to build an OpenAI rival. This comes close on the heels of Google facing a brain drain with popular AI researchers like Hyung Won Chung, Jason Wei, Shane Gu, and other great minds reportedly joining OpenAI.
