Databricks’ Unsexy Success

Recently, Forbes released its annual AI 50 list, which highlighted marquee names, including the likes of Databricks, Hugging Face, Anthropic, and Scale AI, alongside Midjourney, Adept, Harvey and others. But, sadly, one company was left out – i.e. Stability AI. Founded by Emad Mostaque in 2019, the company spearheaded the image generation revolution with its Stable Diffusion.
There is a good reason for the inclusion of Databricks in the Forbes list – i.e. stability and long-term vision. It’s time for ‘Stability AI’ and other AI startups (whose names were missed in the list) to focus, and learn a thing or two from companies like Databricks that made it big on the list – who knows some of you might even make it to Forbes ‘fancy AI’ listings soon.
