“Compute is the new oil,” said Groq founder Jonathan Ross, in a recent interview with Forward Futur founder Matthew Burman, echoing OpenAI’s Sam Altman’s thoughts.
Altman is one of the luminaries in the field, besides Jensen Huang, Elon Musk, and others, who are trying to solve the energy and computing issues associated with building and providing generative AI services to a large customer base.
