Microsoft has thrown down the gauntlet to Google Search. GPT 3.5/4-powered Microsoft, which has a mere 8% equity in the search engine market, aims to eat into Google’s piece of the pie. While the two giants brawl, Apple, which has an entire ecosystem built around itself, seems to be idling, little interested in the search engine.
Apple is known for building the tech ecosystem from the ground up. It made a point that Apple users don’t need to go out of Apple to do different jobs – and thus built MacOS, iOS, Safari, Maps, Music, Apple TV, FaceTime and many other software products. There is little scope for others to make it into the Apple ecosystem, except the search space.
