2024 is all About Generative AI for Indian IT

2024 is going to be ‘a year of generative AI’ for Indian IT. Industry analysts and experts predict that nearly half of the deals this year will be driven by generative AI, contributing about 2% of the total revenue. Most of this AI integration will be led by Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and HCLTech among others, with an increased focus on AI skill development and talent transformation.

While 2023 witnessed notable generative AI initiatives and partnerships in the Indian IT landscape, the current year is about cracking large-scale AI projects, moving away from smaller, fragmented deals, alongside consolidating vendors and securing larger, more impactful contracts.
