We have released a report, that studies how and to what extent organisations in India leverage behavioural science and data science to analyse consumer behaviour across different industries and functions.
According to the study, there is limited use of Behavioural Science techniques by Indian organisations to study buying behaviour. Around 1 in 5 respondents said they had none or rare utilisation.

Myntra’s data science team – one of the largest data science teams in the country – is the mastermind behind everything that the company does today, including business value, as a large majority of their solutions are AB tested.
Myntra’s data science team is structured around pods-one-pod for a specific problem or business area. For example, there are separate pods for homepage, search, SCM inbound, SCM outbound, etc. Each of these pods is led by a data science manager and consists of 3-4 scientists. Multiple data science managers report to the head of data science.

Zerodha Cannot See The Use Of AI/ML
A heated debate has been prevailing on LinkedIn since Nithin Kamath, Founder & CEO at Zerodha, posted, “I keep getting asked how we use AI/ML/Blockchain at @zerodhaonline, and I keep saying we don’t and haven’t found any use-case yet.”
There were many who loved the duo’s honesty, while there were also several who completely trashed their idea of underestimating the technology and the potential and scope it holds.

Timnit Gebru’s New Institute
Timnit Gebru launched Distributed Artificial Intelligence Research (DAIR) Institute, an independent, community-driven organisation that aims to counter Big Tech’s influence on the research and development of AI.
Gebru is one of the most respected voices in the field of AI Ethics. Last year, Gebru, who then worked as the co-lead of the Ethics AI team, was ousted from Google for allegedly co-authoring a paper on large language models and their adverse effects.
